Juan has scaled technologies from 2-inch to 15-foot-diameter vessels for leading companies, including Sasol, SGCE, Syntroleum, Air Products, GreatPoint Energy, and Entegris. He holds more than 10 U.S. patents and 85 PCT patents. His expertise includes the operation and startup of GTL and biofuels plants, petcoke and biomass gasification, graphite production, and syngas cleanup. He has also supported startups developing biomass gasification, battery-grade graphite, graphene, biodiesel, SAF, SNG, Fischer-Tropsch wax, and syngas technologies.
